Our Block of Rooms
We have a group discount set up at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Parsons. The hotel is located a few minutes away from downtown Parsons.
The nightly room rate is $120/night, a $30-$40 discount off of the standard rate. There are two types of room from which you can choose: a room with a single king-sized bed, or a room with two queen-sized beds. The nightly rate is the same for each room type. Connecting rooms are available upon request.
Amenities include complimentary continental breakfasts each morning, an indoor heated pool, a fitness center, a business center, free on-site parking, and daily housekeeping. Pets are accepted with an additional nightly pet fee. Guests need to be 21 or older to check in.
Booking
You will need to call the hotel directly to access our block of rooms. Be sure to tell them that you are with the Pruitt Family Reunion; this is how they will provide you with the discounted room rate.
You have until May 12th, 2025 to book using the group discount. At that time, the rooms are released into the general inventory, and you will no longer have access to the discounted rate.
Any cancellations should be made by May 12th, 2025. The hotel has informed us that guest cancellations made after this date will forfeit their deposit for the room.

Alternative Accommodations
Since we will be using some onsite group facilities at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites throughout the weekend, staying here will keep you closest to the reunion's group meetings. However, other accommodation options in Parsons will still be near our meetings and are available across different price points. We've tried to find the most affordable option that lends itself to hosting group meetings. That being said, there are some cheaper options to be found around town.
Vacation rentals can also be an affordable option, especially when traveling as a group. Airbnb and VRBO are the main companies that service the area. You can check out their offers below.
For those who prefer roughin' it, Parsons also has a selection of RV parks and campgrounds.
Transportation
Access to a vehicle is recommended while at the reunion, as Parsons does not have a public transportation system. Rideshare options (Uber, Lyft, etc.) may be available.
If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, complimentary onsite parking is available.
The nearest major airports are the Tulsa International Airport in Tulsa, OK (2 hours away by car); the Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport in Wichita, KS (2 hours and 15 minutes away by car); and the Kansas City International Airport in Kansas City, KS (2 hours and 45 minutes away by car). Rental cars are available at each airport.
