Mission Statement
The Pruitt family has descendants spread all across this great country, and our annual reunion represents an invaluable opportunity to celebrate and affirm that which unites us. The 2025 Pruitt Family Reunion strives to build enduring family relationships through shared experiences, as we strengthen bonds in our younger generation, honor the traditions and tell the stories of our past generations, and enjoy our current generation. The reunion seeks to sustain and encourage the togetherness and companionship that was so cherished by Cary and Susie Pruitt.
Changes and Traditions
The planning and organization of the 2025 Pruitt Family Reunion is well underway.
To our knowledge, 2022's reunion in Reno, Nevada was the first Pruitt Family Reunion that was not held in Parsons, Kansas. We strayed from this time-honored tradition following a vote held at the business meeting during the 2019 reunion to hold future reunions in Parsons and new locations in alternating years.
This decision was made with the goal of attracting more of our younger generation, as well as those who could not make it to Kansas in reunions past due to distance; we Pruitts have always been great wanderers, and Cary and Susie have descendants across this great country. While family reunions serve as places to share and honor old memories, they also represent valuable opportunities to make new ones.
With this goal in mind, the 2025 Pruitt Family Reunion will be returning to Parsons during the traditional Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: June 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th, with Sunday, June 15th being Father’s Day.
